Website Technology had the honor of designing and developing the official website for ErbilMarathon.krd, a key platform for one of the most prominent annual sporting events in the Kurdistan Region. The goal was to create a fully responsive, user-friendly website that not only reflects the energy and community spirit of the marathon but also supports the organizational needs of participants, sponsors, and the public. The website features a clean and modern design with intuitive navigation, allowing users to easily access key information about race categories, registration processes, event schedules, and past marathon results. To accommodate the diverse audience, the site was developed with multilingual support, enabling visitors to browse in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. We integrated a custom online registration system that streamlines the process for individual runners and teams, reducing manual workload and minimizing errors. Additionally, the website includes real-time announcements, a media gallery, interactive maps, and social media integration to keep users informed and engaged before, during, and after the event. Security, performance, and scalability were prioritized to handle high traffic volumes around registration periods and race day. Built with modern web technologies and optimized for both desktop and mobile users, ErbilMarathon.krd stands as a robust digital hub for marathon enthusiasts and a proud example of Website Technology’s capability in delivering large-scale event platforms.
