How We Built the IIBC.org Website

At Gateway Logistics, we believe that technology and design should serve a purpose — to connect people, ideas, and opportunities. The creation of IIBC.org, the official website of the Iraq–Italy Business Council (IIBC), embodies this philosophy.

From Vision to Digital Reality

The Iraq–Italy Business Council was established to strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and cultural ties between Iraq and Italy. Our mission was to translate this vision into a modern, functional, and multilingual digital platform that reflects professionalism, trust, and international partnership.

From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to create a website that communicates authority, encourages collaboration, and inspires confidence among businesses, investors, and institutions in both countries.

Design and Development

Our team began with a comprehensive consultation process with IIBC’s leadership to understand their objectives, target audiences, and communication tone. Based on these insights, we developed:

• A modern and responsive design optimized for all devices, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors in Iraq, Italy, and beyond.

• A clean bilingual interface (English–Arabic) that reflects inclusivity and accessibility for both business communities.

• Structured content architecture, highlighting IIBC’s mission, members, partnerships, and events in a user-friendly flow.

• Fast, secure, and scalable hosting, ensuring stability and top performance under international standards.

We built the site on a powerful content management system (CMS) that allows IIBC staff to easily update news, upload publications, and manage media content without technical support — giving them full digital independence.

Content and Branding

The visual identity of the website mirrors IIBC’s professionalism and diplomatic nature. The color palette was inspired by the national tones of Iraq and Italy — symbolizing cooperation and harmony — while the layout reflects Italian design elegance blended with Iraqi authenticity.

Each section of the website was crafted to serve a specific communication goal:

• News and Events: To showcase the Council’s growing activities, partnerships, and business missions.

• Membership: To invite Iraqi and Italian companies to join and benefit from the network.

• Publications and Reports: To provide transparency, credibility, and valuable insights to stakeholders.

Every piece of text, from headlines to mission statements, was written to reflect IIBC’s spirit of diplomacy, development, and cross-border growth.

Launch and Impact

After months of planning, design, and content development, IIBC.org officially launched in October 2025, alongside the inauguration of the IIBC office in Baghdad. The launch marked a new digital chapter for Iraqi–Italian cooperation — providing a trusted online space for dialogue, visibility, and engagement.

Today, the IIBC website serves as a central hub for communication between Iraqi and Italian institutions, supporting ongoing trade missions, exhibitions, and investment discussions.
